Terms of use

These cover this website. The terms that matter for a project are in the contract you sign for it.

Template notice

This is a starting point, not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have it reviewed against your actual business practices and the law where you operate before you publish it. The registered business name, entity type, and governing jurisdiction all need filling in.

  1. Clause 01

    About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website. They do not govern any project we carry out for you — that is covered by a separate written agreement, and where the two differ, the project agreement wins.

  2. Clause 02

    What is on this site

The content here describes services we offer and explains how we approach them. It is written to be accurate and useful, but it is general information rather than advice for your specific situation, and it does not form a contract or a binding offer.

Timelines, inclusions, and processes described here are typical rather than guaranteed. What applies to your project is what is written in your scope document and quote.

  3. Clause 03

    No pricing is published here

We deliberately do not publish prices on this site. Any figure given to you in a written quote is the operative one, and it applies to the scope described in that quote.

  4. Clause 04

    Enquiries

Submitting the request form does not create any obligation on either side. We may decline a project, and you are under no obligation to proceed after receiving a quote. Please do not send confidential material through the form — wait until we have a confidentiality agreement in place.

  5. Clause 05

    Intellectual property

The text, design, and code of this website belong to us. You are welcome to read it, link to it, and quote it with attribution. Republishing it wholesale as your own is not permitted.

Work produced for a client is a different matter entirely: ownership of project deliverables transfers to the client as set out in the project agreement.

  6. Clause 06

    Availability

We aim to keep this site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or remove content without notice.

  7. Clause 07

    External links

Where we link to another site, we are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

  8. Clause 08

    Liability

To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on general information published on this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

  9. Clause 09

    Governing law

Specify the governing jurisdiction here before launch, with legal advice. It should match where the business is actually registered.

  10. Clause 10

    Contact

Questions about these terms can go through the request form. Our privacy notice covers what happens to data you send us.
